Disclosure: Abivo is our product. Facts about other tools come from their own websites as of October 2026.

The short answer: Yonovo describes itself as "AI-Powered Accounts Receivable Automation" that follows up on overdue invoices by email, SMS and AI voice calls, with rules you set and a daily briefing of what was sent. Abivo is a Yonovo alternative built around an AI agent, Kate, that calls, texts and emails customers about overdue invoices in your company's name, records promises to pay and disputes, and hands disputes to your AR team with the full history. The two tools overlap a lot. The choice usually comes down to which accounting systems you run, how much invoice detail your customers need in each reminder, and how you want key accounts handled.

What Yonovo does

Yonovo's headline is "Automate your accounts receivable. Get paid faster." From its own pages:

  • Multichannel follow-up. Yonovo connects to your accounting system, finds overdue invoices and follows up "across email, SMS, phone, and WhatsApp." Its sample schedule moves from email to SMS around day 14 and to a phone call around day 21.

  • AI voice calls. Its NetSuite page says follow-ups include "AI-powered phone calls on your behalf," and the homepage says voice calls are logged.

  • Escalation. Around day 30, reminders can go to a senior contact such as a controller or CFO. Internally, disputes, broken payment promises and key accounts are escalated to someone on your team.

  • Disputes and promises. Yonovo says follow-ups pause on the disputed portion and your team is notified. When a payment is promised, the sequence holds until that date.

  • Approval controls. You can approve every message manually or let Yonovo send automatically. Accounts flagged as sensitive receive nothing without your sign-off.

  • Ledger checks. Yonovo says it "checks your ledger before every message," so paid invoices drop out of the sequence.

  • Reporting. A daily inbox briefing, plus reporting on aging, DSO, recovery rate and at-risk invoices.

  • Integrations. QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Stripe Billing and BILL, with FreshBooks, SAP, Salesforce and HubSpot also named, and CSV upload as a fallback. Its NetSuite page describes support for OneWorld subsidiaries from one dashboard.

  • Who it targets. Software and tech, wholesale and distribution, manufacturing, professional services, property management, and gyms and fitness.

Where Abivo is different

Abivo and Yonovo both contact customers across several channels. The differences are in how the outreach is built and who owns which accounts.

  • An agent that holds the conversation. Kate calls, texts and emails customers in your company's name and records promises to pay, disputes and next steps from each conversation. Read how AI collections calls work in practice.

  • Invoice detail customers recognize. Reminders name the job, site, PO or billing period, and one message can cover every open invoice on an account. That matters for contractors, distributors and service firms whose AP teams match payments to POs or job numbers.

  • Named owners for key accounts. Flag key accounts so a named owner on your team handles them, set the cadence per account or segment, and pause any single invoice.

  • Handoffs with history. Disputes and requests to speak with a person go to your AR team with the full history. See our guide on how to resolve invoice disputes.

  • Multi-entity and international. Multi-entity teams keep each subsidiary separate, and Abivo works with customers in over 50 countries and in any currency.

  • Integrations. Abivo connects with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP and Chargebee, or an aging report export. See Abivo integrations.

Abivo does not replace your accounting system, invoicing, payment processing or cash application.

When to choose Yonovo

Choose Yonovo when you run Odoo, Stripe Billing, BILL or FreshBooks and want a connector for that system, when WhatsApp is a channel your customers actually use, or when you want to approve every message before it goes out. Its daily briefing and rule-based schedule suit teams that like to see a fixed escalation path from email to SMS to phone, and its industry pages cover property management and gyms, which sit outside Abivo's usual B2B focus.

When to choose Abivo

Choose Abivo when your customers need reminders that cite the job, site, PO or billing period, when you want one message to cover every open invoice on an account, or when key accounts should stay with a named person on your team. It suits companies on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP or Chargebee, multi-entity groups that keep subsidiaries separate, and teams with customers across countries and currencies. OFS Group, a fire protection contractor, collected $842,518 in its first four months with Abivo (read the OFS Group case study).
